Burlington Jazz Festival Brings on the Blues with DWIGHT & NICOLE

Popular blues/soul duo DWIGHT & NICOLE (Dwight Ritcher & Nicole Nelson) moved from Brooklyn, NY to Burlington, Vermont this spring, and have already achieved notable buzz here. Their powerful vocals and commanding songs easily captivated a sold out show at the Higher Ground in April, and caught the attention of the Burlington Jazz Festival who quickly added them to this years lineup. They bring a lively blend of soulful blues to an eclectic bill that includes notables Herbie Hancock, Béla Fleck and the Original Flecktones, and Poncho Sanchez featuring Terence Blanchard.

Catch them downtown Sunday, June 5th at 5:30 pm at the American Flatbread stage, and again Saturday, June 11th at 6:15 pm on Church Street in front of the Town Hall. Regattabar Presents Second Annual “Summertime Soul with DWIGHT & NICOLE”

(Cambridge, MA) On Saturday July 16th, Popular blues/soul act DWIGHT & NICOLE (fronted by singers Dwight Ritcher & Nicole Nelson) return to the Regattabar stage for a second annual “Summertime Soul” show.  Show times are 7:30pm & 10pm Tickets: $20.00. Last year, the event (on July 10, 2010) completely sold out, leaving over one hundred fans crowded outside in the record heat and rain hoping to catch a glimpse of the musical pair.
